This outstanding mirror is French, and dates from the 1920s. The frame is is adorned with Gesso Barbola roses in baskets in different hues of pink, and the foliage is done in sage and aqua.

CHIC ANTIQUE BARBOLA ROSE OVAL MIRROR

This outstanding mirror is French, and dates from the 1920s. The frame is is adorned with Gesso Barbola roses in different hues of pink. The foliage is done in sage and aqua. There is a beautiful carved frilly bow accenting the top of this piece and winding it's way through the roses. The finish looks old, but I don't think its original. I can see gilding peeking through, it was redone at some point, but it absolutely gorgeous! All of the roses and leaves are fully in tact and accounted for. No damage or missing pieces that I can see. The glass is original and is almost perfect with MINIMAL wear. It gives a beautiful reflection, not distorted. This is a large piece, and measures: 30" tall x 22.25" wide.

This outstanding European oval mirror was an exceptional find!! It dates from the 1920s, and features a lavish wood frame adorned with 24 Gesso Barbola roses and rose buds and stems in a deep dusty pink.

Pair of Mirrored Sconces Chic Glamor!

I found these at flea market and was told this exquistie pair of mirrors were salvaged from another piece, and turned into sconces. Each polished mirror is firmly mounted on a metal plate for hanging. The detail in the glass is stunning. There are thumbprint indents (or dots) centered between a cut diamond pattern. The surface of the mirror is level, all of the detal is underneath. Each mirror features a bevel all the way around and 4 very sweet pink rosettes. One of the rosettes is missing 2 leaves, that is the only flaw I see. Each mirror is embellished with 6 amethyst crystal drops! These sconces are a good size!! Each sconce measures 21.25 inches tall x 13.50" wide. Currently they hold a candle, but could easily be electrified as the arm that is attached is hollow.
